good ole pencil

New post! I thought it was about time I got off my lazy ass! Soooooo I've been attempting to get to grips with photoshop for a while now, but you just can't beat a pencil! And I haven't drawn anything from life for a while, so thought I'd draw an owl. I did ask myslef "WHY?!?!" when I started on the feathers, aaand he doesn't have any feet because the feathers got rid of my last ounce of sanity. That and I ran out of page. They never make pages big enough these days, no matter how big you draw. I might colour him in in photoshop. I say MIGHT......

I took out the pobl and gave a new "aspect" to the picture, because I'm a wimp and didn't know how to beat it. Still got lots to do, but not sure if it's a good idea yet??..........

Distraction?...

Soooo it's been quiiiiite a while since my last post...I may have got a bit stuck on my people drawing and have been finding excuses not to carry on with my drawing. So here are some doodles to fill some space until I get my ass in gear and draw those DAMN PEOPLE. Giant dinosaurs and psycho lizard bunnies from hell will do for now. Drawn with colourful pens I stole from my sister. And paper I stole from her revision pad. Excuse the lines.

WIP

So this is a work in progress, I need to try using photoshop more so this is my attempt. I've stopped just before I attempt the people characters, because people reeeaaaally arent my strong point, and hate myself for putting them in there. Never mind, they're in there now. And I'm stuck with the background. And theres no finer detail in there shadows, scales etc. So, any pointers from anyone whos interested? No? Fine. If I put the finished thing up and it's a mess, I'm blaming you.

aaarrrgh! Finally!

Finally! I'm going to write this really quick before my pc crashes and all my hard waiting is lost, but technology has finally decided to work and here is my showreel! It's bad quality because every pc I have tried to upload on has given up on me, so the only solution I had was to make it smaller at the risk of it's quality. I'll probably try and upload a better one, once I've set up camp and prepared myself to wait another 5 years. But anyway, it's on here finally! Anyone got any pointers ot any showreel advice or if it's just plain rubbish, let me know! I'm quite happy with it but there's always something more to change. Finished? what is this word?.... Finally!
